Bali is an incredible country, so much history, a must see for any travel enthusiast. Bali is known for its flamboyant designers and fabulous shopping, and you’ll find the best examples of Balinese design along the busy streets of Seminyak. Cutting edge designer fashion, surf and swimwear, jewelry, furniture, and homewares are just some of the items you can buy at the chic shops and busy market stalls here. Top boutiques include Biasa, Magali Pascal, and Bamboo Blonde, while Kody & Ko sells colorful quirky art and homeware. Sea Gypsy is a favorite for affordable jewelry, and Drifter Surf Shop & Cafe offers a collection of surf and skateboard gear. The two main shopping malls are Seminyak Square and Seminyak Village, but you’ll probably find better deals in the smaller shops lining the streets. If you’re really seeking a bargain, head to the Seminyak Flea Markets, near Seminyak Square, where you’ll find stalls crammed with clothing, jewelry, carvings, and handicrafts. Seminyak is also home to some of Bali’s best restaurants and art galleries.
If Gili T is too busy for your tastes, you’ll feel much more at home on Gili Meno. The smallest of the three islands, Gili Meno attracts an older, more upmarket crowd. It’s the one you’ll want to spend the most time on if you’re on your honeymoon. The beaches are stunning (and more consistent than the other two islands) and there are some cool places to eat and drink. Again, there’s not much to do but that’s kind of the point. See extra details at Fast boat to Gili.
Located in southern Bali, Nusa Dua is a lovely beach resort with a stylish and sophisticated vibe. Couples can fall under the area’s spell while making many happy memories together. The soft sands and clear waters are ideal for lazy beach days and swimming in the refreshing sea, and nearby attractions include temples, unusual natural features, viewing points, museums, a golf course, and shopping centres. There’s definitely enough to keep you busy in Nusa Dua!
Sanur is famous for not having any waves, so surfing is not possible here. For this reason many visitors think that you can’t get out on the water although this is completely wrong. On the contrary, Sanur has a huge variety of water sports on offer and you can try kiting surfing, paragliding, and even standing up paddle boarding.
